How is GPA calculated?
Each grade is converted into grade points, multiplied by the subject's credit hours, and the total is divided by the total credit hours. That makes bigger subjects count more.
Which grade scale is used?
The standard US 4.0 scale, where A = 4.0, B = 3.0, C = 2.0, D = 1.0 and F = 0, with plus and minus steps of 0.3.
What if my school uses a different scale?
Grade points vary between institutions. Compare the points shown here with your school's official table before using the result for anything formal.
Is my data saved?
No. Subjects and grades stay in your browser tab and are gone as soon as you close or reset the page.
